More useless information to be stored away in my brain.

I absolutely love to learn things that I'll never need or use any where other than in random thought type situations. And today I learn the cream of the crop. Do you really know what all the childhood nursery rhymes are about? I didn't. Sure I knew about ring around the rosy and some of them. But I had no idea how many of them were pertaining to the Tudor era. Seriously. I didn't know that Old Mother Hubbard was about Queen Katherine of Aragon and the divorce that King Henry wanted and the politics of the Cardinal. OR that the silver bells and cockleshells were torture devices that Bloody Mary used. The silver bells were thumb screws and the cockleshells were placed on the genitalia. Nor did I know that 3 blind mice was about Bloody Mary either. She didn't dismember them, she had the three noblemen burned at the stake!!! Nor did I know that Little Boy blue was about Cardinal Thomas Wolsey. Again Tudor era. Pussycat Pussy cat where have you been is again from the Tudor Era when Queen Elizabeth the 1st had this cat that scared her. And London Bridge is broken down is about Henry and Anne Boleyn. Seriously, I need to stop looking at this stuff. It's really interesting though. I can't wait to tell Libby about it. If you are interested in reading this stuff, I suggest that you go here (link) and read what each story is about. I think I'll look up more about it later tonight after I study.

[edit]
I have 349 pages to read, understand, and be able to test on by Tuesday @6pm. I don't think it's possible, so everyone say a little prayer for me. XD Marlayna was right that I should just go over the powerpoints and say fuck all to the reading, but I just can't. I can't afford to fail my next test. So I think I'm about to go on a no sleep binge.
